It’s been a busy couple of years! The Parapsychology Research and Education course, otherwise known as ParaMOOC17, has just completed it’s live sessions as of today!
15 Presenters, a four person organization team, total support from Lisette Coly and the Parapsychology Foundation for the second year in a row, this year’s course was as amazing as the previous two (Parapsychology and Anomalistic Psychology: Research and Education 2016, and Parapsychology Research and Education 2017). Starting on Sunday, February 26th, 2017 we transition into the last-Sunday-of-the-month discussion forums that will continue on through August 27th, 2017. The course is still open for enrollment, giving attendees access to the recordings, the powerpoints, and a lot of additional materials such as YouTube videos, copies of published articles and those still under consideration and chat logs that not only chart the conversation between attendees and the speakers but include links to lots of useful information. If you haven’t enrolled yet, here’s the link: http://the-azire.wiziq.com/course/178247-parapsychology-research-and-education-paramooc2017. To join just go to http://www.wiziq.com and create a free learner’s account, and then put the course link in your browser’s address bar and enroll.
As for the certificates, I’ve signed up with Accredible.com, took my training and am working my way through my back log of yet-to-be-sent certificates for faculty and attendees alike. Here’s Maggie Larimore’s certification from 2015 (she’s my Second Life avatar who serves as my “sample student” in all my courses):
You can download the PDF version and frame it or share the certificate with the information on various social media. Working through the list this weekend.
And of course there will be a ParaMOOC2018! So keep tuned as we update this site with YouTube links for already published videos from 2015 and 2016, and the soon to come 2017 talks from ParaMOOC series playlists on both the Parapsychology Online and Parapsychology Foundation YouTube Channels! More to come!
